About Friday Night Funkin'

Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game with a story: Boyfriend wants to date Girlfriend, and her father and a parade of other opponents make him sing for it. Arrows scroll up the screen; you press them when they reach the top, in time with the music. Miss too many and you lose the song.

If the music is the part of the Sans fight you like most, this is the one. Four arrows instead of one button, and the same rule: the song is the timer.

How to Play Friday Night Funkin'

Press Play and choose Story Mode or Freeplay.
Pick a difficulty; Normal is the right start.
Press the arrow keys as the arrows reach the top of the strum line.
Keep the health bar on your side through every song.

Controls

Arrow keys or WASD: hit the four lanes.
Enter: confirm. Escape: pause.
That is all the game needs.

Tips and Tricks

Look at the top of the lane, not the bottom; the arrows are read where they land.
Hold notes have to be held to the end.
Freeplay a song before Story Mode if a week keeps beating you.
Turn down the offset if hits feel late; the pause menu has it.
