About Dinosaur Game
Dinosaur Game is the runner hidden in Chrome's offline page, playable here without unplugging anything. The T-Rex runs, cacti of different heights arrive, pterodactyls fly at two heights, and the whole thing speeds up as the score climbs. Day turns to night every few hundred points. The score is the run.
It is the simplest dodge game there is, and the best way to warm up before a harder one.
How to Play Dinosaur Game
- Press Play, then press Space to start running.
- Jump the cacti with Space or Up.
- Duck the low pterodactyls with Down.
- Keep going until you hit something.
Controls
- Space or Up arrow: jump.
- Down arrow: duck.
- That is the whole game.
Tips and Tricks
- Jump late. An early jump lands on the next cactus.
- High pterodactyls can be run under; low ones must be ducked; middle ones jumped.
- The speed steps up at round numbers. Expect the step.
- Night mode is harder to read. Stay focused during the transition.
